Position: Outdoor Instructor Trainee
Department: Outdoor Education & Adventure Programs
Location: TMT Basecamp, Trị An Lake, Đồng Nai
Reports To: Training Manager
Role Overview:
The Outdoor Instructor Trainee will participate in a comprehensive training program designed to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become a professional outdoor instructor. This role involves assisting in outdoor adventure activities, learning facilitation techniques, and supporting The Mountain Tribe’s mission of delivering transformative outdoor education experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Training & Development:
- Participate in workshops on technical skills such as trekking, kayaking, rope courses, and survival techniques.
- Gain knowledge of risk management, environmental education, and program facilitation.
- Obtain relevant outdoor certifications as part of the training program.
Program Support:
- Assist lead instructors in preparing and conducting outdoor programs.
- Support participants during activities, ensuring safety and engagement.
- Help set up and maintain program equipment and outdoor gear.
Leadership & Facilitation:
- Develop the ability to lead groups in outdoor activities under supervision.
- Facilitate team-building and educational activities.
- Act as a role model by demonstrating enthusiasm, responsibility, and respect for nature.
Operations & Logistics:
- Assist with program logistics, including transportation, campsite setup, and activity preparation.
- Support the maintenance of program areas and equipment.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Minimum 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in outdoor education, sports science, or related fields is a plus.
Skills & Attributes:
- Passion for outdoor activities and working with people.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically fit and comfortable in outdoor environments.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Previous outdoor or leadership experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
