The Mountain Tribe (TMT) is committed to fostering an environment of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in all aspects of our outdoor education programs. We recognize that each individual, regardless of background, identity, or abilities, brings unique strengths and perspectives. Our goal is to create a welcoming and supportive environment where all participants feel valued, respected, and empowered to thrive in their outdoor experiences. This policy outlines our commitment to EDI and provides guidance for its implementation in our operations, staff management, and educational programs.

  • Cultural Sensitivity: We honor the diverse cultural backgrounds of participants, staff, and local communities. We make every effort to integrate local traditions, histories, and perspectives into our programs.
  • Accessibility: We are committed to making our outdoor education programs accessible to individuals of all abilities and backgrounds, including but not limited to people with disabilities, from underrepresented social groups, and those with different learning needs.
