Roles and Responsibilities:

Volunteers will be involved in a range of activities depending on their skills, interests, and the needs of The Mountain Tribe. Responsibilities may include:

  1. Program Support:
    • Assist in the planning and execution of outdoor education programs and adventure activities.
    • Support in the development and delivery of educational content and materials.
    • Help with participant registration and coordination.
  2. Event Coordination:
    • Assist in organizing and managing events, workshops, and training sessions.
    • Provide logistical support before, during, and after events.
  3. Camp Operations:
    • Participate in the setup, maintenance, and takedown of camp facilities at TMT Basecamp.
    • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the base camp.
    • Assist with meal preparation and other camp duties as needed.
  4. Community Engagement:
    • Engage with participants, providing guidance and support during activities.
    • Promote The Mountain Tribe’s values and mission to the community.
    • Gather feedback from participants to help improve programs and services.
  5. Administrative Support:
    • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and communication.
    • Help maintain accurate records of participants and program outcomes.
  6. Marketing and Outreach:
    • Support marketing efforts through content creation, social media management, and community outreach.
    • Help design promotional materials and campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for outdoor education, adventure, and community engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Basic understanding of outdoor safety and first aid (preferred but not required).
  • Experience in outdoor activities, education, or event coordination (preferred but not required).
