The Mountain Tribe Representative Participates in Water Rescue Training and Certification Program

Recently, The Mountain Tribe‘s representative, Mr. Đặng Minh, participated in a specialized water rescue training and certification course organized by the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Đồng Nai. The training was notable for its thoroughness and high level of expertise, delivered by a team of esteemed instructors including Mr. Lê Chí Hùng, Head of the Physical Education Department at Da Nang University of Sports and Physical Education, and Mr. Phạm Văn Tuân, Head of the Swimming Department at Ho Chi Minh City University of Sports and Physical Education.

A standout feature of the program was the fairness and responsibility demonstrated by the instructors. Participants were only awarded a certificate of completion if they attended all training days and passed the assessments administered directly by the instructors. This strict approach ensured that only those who truly mastered the material received certification.

One crucial aspect highlighted during the training was the importance of recognizing one’s limits and capabilities as a rescuer. This awareness is essential to prevent situations where the rescuer might become a secondary victim or suffer worse consequences than the person they are trying to save.

Although Mr. Đặng Minh has already acquired numerous certifications from various national and international training programs, this course was particularly valuable. It offered him the opportunity to familiarize himself with new techniques and revisit essential rescue practices. The training also emphasized the importance of adapting to the latest safety protocols and technical systems.

Following this training, Mr. Minh plans to develop specialized training programs for The Mountain Tribe‘s current staff. These programs aim to enhance professionalism and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly for upcoming School Programs. This initiative reflects The Mountain Tribe’s commitment to safety and quality in outdoor education and activities.

We extend our gratitude to the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Đồng Nai for their support and for creating a conducive environment for participants. This collaboration not only boosts confidence and security in their work but also fosters a sense of community in the collective effort to implement drowning prevention programs in the area.
