Position Overview

The Country Manager serves as the official representative of The Mountain Tribe in their home country. This role focuses on promoting The Mountain Tribe brand, expanding partnerships, and connecting international schools with high-quality outdoor education and experiential learning programs in Viet Nam.

Key Responsibilities

1. School Engagement & Partnership Development

• Represent The Mountain Tribe to all international schools within your home country.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with school leaders, program directors, service learning coordinators, CAS directors, and outdoor education managers.
• Actively promote school trips, expeditions, cultural immersion programs, and experiential learning modules hosted in Viet Nam.
• Identify partnership opportunities with outdoor education associations, learning networks, and regional organizations.

2. Meetings & Communication

• Arrange and lead hybrid/virtual meetings with school heads and program-in-charge personnel in your home country.
• Coordinate with The Mountain Tribe HQ to propose tailored programs such as curriculum-linked trips, service projects, adventure programs, and community-based experiences.

3. Brand Representation & Marketing

• Represent the brand at local education fairs, conferences, and networking events within your market.
• Support localized marketing and outreach, maintaining alignment with The Mountain Tribe brand identity.

4. Collaboration & Reporting

• Work remotely, with periodic travel to The Mountain Tribe office in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam for key strategic meetings.
• Provide regular updates, market insights, and partnership progress reports to the leadership team.

Qualifications

• Strong network in the international education sector, including international schools, K–12 institutions, and global learning providers.
• Experience in outdoor education, school trips, experiential learning, or service learning is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently, remotely, and with multicultural teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong professionalism.
